HEAVEN is…

Image result for Girl sleeping

Friday night take out;

To go with chilled wine.

Barefoot and braless;

This evening is mine.

It’s just me and the dog;

Feet up for the night.

Not a care in the world;

Not a worry in sight.

The phone is turned off;

The lights are down low.

Wrapped in a blanket;

I’ve got nowhere to go.

When I grow tired;

I will shuffle to bed.

Heaven’s the feeling;

When pillow meets head.

    Two points:
    [1] That sounds like a free & fabulous evening.
    [2] You’re a true poet — whether you want to be, or not. πŸ˜‰

        Haha well we can disagree on that: I’m just saying what I see. πŸ˜‰ You’re both kind-hearted and talented… men are missing out. Their loss.
        Haha it’s a shame you don’t live in the UK, my friend, as we could have some fun at the pub: I’d buy you a bottle of wine — and a straw. πŸ˜‰
